The programme consists of an academic, on-field experience, that will take place inside the MPA in the Gökova Bay, Turkey.
Most of us, when visiting beaches worldwide, have little or no awareness of the richness that surrounds us and of the responsibility that rests upon us of guaranteeing their preservation. Accordingly, the pilot programme has been developed to raise awareness on environmental change, and to create a group of young citizens which not only will inhabit the sea in a conscious manner, but will also be testimonials of environmental protection within their own community, as enshrined by SDG n. 14-Life Below Water.
